Aston Martin was founded in 1913 by L. Martin and R. Bamfors. After the WWI erupted, Aston Martin was dissolved, and four years later was re-founded at the end of the war. In 1922, they competed in the French Grand Prix and set a world’s speed and endurance records, and started a long history in car racing, up to today. In 1947, Sir David Brown brought the company and created what is know as the “the post war savior”. He offered us the classic "DB" series of cars, named after its initial. DB 2 – 3 – 4 – and the infamous DB5, one of the ultimate car, a real weapon when in the hands of James Bond.
