Triumph Spitfire MKII Convertible 1962 – 1967 Aluminum Parking Fridge Magnet

The Triumph Spitfire was designed to compete in the small sports car market. Italian designer Michelotti was commissioned for the new project, and came up with a traditional, swooping body. Wind-up windows were, as well as a single-piece front end, which tilted forwards to offer unrivalled access to the engine. Triumph was in deep financial trouble, and it was not until the company was taken over by the Leyland that the car was launched, in 1962. Leyland found Michelotti's prototype hiding under a dustsheet in a corner of the factory and rapidly approved it for production. The two-seater sports car was named “Spitfire” to commemorate the famous WWII fighter aircraft.

Perfect for all car enthusiasts that want to show their passion for their Triumph Spitfire MKII Convertible. Make room on the fridge and make it clear: Your Triumph Spitfire MKII Convertible deserves a reserved parking spot in the middle of the other magnets. The magnet is 2” x 3” (77 x 51 mm) and is quality made of .045” Aluminum that will not fade or break. It has rounded corner and a 1/2 inch square magnet in the back. Stick it to anything you'll like, on your fridge, workbench, toolbox, or man cave board. The colors are brights, vibrants and contrast beautifully. For any car guy, this is the ideal gift to add style and show their pride, even in the middle of the kitchen.
