1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Apparel and Accessories by Legend Lines
The Oldsmobile Cutlass was once again the company's top intermediate vehicle, but by 1972 it was the introductory model. Two body styles were available, including a sedan and a coupe. Standard equipment included front and rear armrests, full carpeting, fiberglass hood insulation, special molding package, Deluxe steering wheel, and rear armrest ashtrays. The interior was either cloth or vinyl. Pricing for the coupe began at $2,975 while the Town Sedan sold for $3,065. The Cutlass 'S' model was available as a Holiday Hardtop or a Spots Coupe. The Holiday Hardtop was more popular, with 78,461 examples produced while just 4,141 were Sports Coupes. Standard equipment included chrome hood louvers, Deluxe bench seats, and special foam seat cushions.
