1987 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Apparel and Accessories by Legend Lines
The Mustang received a major redesign in 1987, and marked the first significant restyling since a long time. It received new front and rear fascias, aero headlamps, and much lower bodyside moldings. Changes to the GT models included a lower air dam with integrated fog lamps and air scoops, plus 'Mustang GT' lettering in the flared rocker panel moldings and rear fascia. The GT hatchback received a large spoiler that housed a stop lamp. The updated interior included a new instrument panel and a two-spoke steering wheel. Body-styles available on the Mustang included the Notchaback, Hatchback, and convertible. Prices ranged from $8,040 for the base model and rose to $15,725 for the GT Convertible. The 5-liter V8 brought horsepower to a respectable 225 horsepower. A five-speed manual was standard with a four-speed overdrive automatic available.
