The Austin Healey was extensively raced in Europe and in the U.S. Some of the most beautiful British Roadsters came from Austin Healey: The beautiful Healey 100, new star of the “Earl’s Court Motor Show” in 1952, Sprite MKI with its frogeyes in 1958, the "Big Healey" who had an immense success in 1959, followed in 1962 by a more powerful 3000 MK II then replaced by the Austin Healey 3000 MK III in October 1963. The MK III will last until 1967. Only one car was produced in 1968… who go the last one? … Austin-Healey cars were produced until 1972 when the 20-year agreement between Healey and Austin came to an end.
