1969 AMC Hurst S/C Rambler Apparel and Accessories by Legend Lines

“AMC The Hurst S/C Rambler (Scrambler) was created in the spring of 1969. This was a collaboration of American Motors and Hurst Performance, and only 1,512 Hurst S/C Ramblers were produced. Likely the most outrageous muscle car from AMC, it was probably the only production model made and promoted for a specific drag racing class, the NHRA F/Stock class. Each Hurst SC/Rambler came equipped with the 315 hp 390 cu in and the only factory option was an AM radio. Available only as a two-door hardtop, the interior came in standard gray charcoal vinyl with head restraints in red, white, and blue stripes. It came with the wildest factory paint jobs ever put on a muscle car. All featured a forward-facing functioning box-type hood scoop with "390 CU. IN." and "AIR" in large letters on both sides of it. A blue arrow on the hood pointed towards the air intake. The Scrambler came only in two types of red, white, and blue color schemes – “A” or "B" trims.
