BMW E30 M3 Apparel and Accessories by Legend Lines

“BMW One of the most successful Group A touring cars was the BMW M3 which had great success in DTM, the World Touring Car Championship, European Touring Car, British Touring Car, Italia Superturismo, and Australian Touring Car Championships. The initial model was available in a coupé body style, with a convertible body style added soon after. M3 Sedans were available during the E36 (1994–1999) and E90 (2008–2012) generations. Since 2014, the M3 has been solely produced in the sedan body style, due to the coupé and convertible models being rebranded as the 4 Series range, making the high-performance variant the M4. Upgrades over the regular 3 Series models include engines, handling, brakes, aerodynamics, lightweight materials and various interior upgrades. After deciding to enter Touring Car and DTM racing, BMW supported a program for the E30 BMW in 1987. To satisfy homologation purposes 500 road-going examples of the car had to be produced. Later these cars became the most successful touring car from BMW. The M3 had a commanding presence on the international touring car racing scene for five years. It became the most successful touring car of all times by winning the two champion’s titles in the European Touring Car Championship and twice in the German Touring Car Championship. There were also numerous further victories and championship wins at international level.Despite the homologation requirements, the Group A version of the M3 was drastically different than the road-going version. This is most apparent in the price difference between to two. $120,000 USD was the factory price for a new race ready M3 while the US spec M3 sold for $34,000.
