Matra Rene Bonnet DJet V / VS 1963 - 1968 Long Sleeve T-Shirt

In 1959, Rene Bonnet and his partner Charles Deutsch, formed the company “Automobile DB”. They built a successful line of LeMans class-winning sports prototypes. The union between these two did not last for long. Deutsch continued with the Panhard-based cars while Bonnet turned to Renault based cars. The Matra Djet was designed by René Bonnet and later modified by Matra. The car had various names in its life from 1962 till 1967: René Bonnet Djet, Matra Bonnet Djet, Matra Sports Djet and finally Matra Sports Jet. The Djet had a very modern and elegant design. The car accommodated for two people, there was no back seat as the engine took that place. The fiberglass body was made by Matra who also provided the factory where the Djets were built. When Bonnet got into financial troubles, Matra took over René Bonnet Automobiles and its debts in October 1964 and by April 1965 the sports car was named the Matra Bonnet Djet V and Djet V S (Gordini specs engine).

A game of subtle lights and shadows reveal the magnificent curves of the body of the Matra Rene Bonnet DJet V / VS, a Legendary French Automobile. Detailed and harmonious, the artistic illustration has grabbed the essence of one of the most influential vehicle of the 20th century and is printed in front of the tee. Refine and stylish, it is a perfect wear for any occasion and to show your passion for a true Legend that lives forever: the Matra Rene Bonnet DJet V / VS Long Sleeve T-Shirt.
